Infrastructure

Ensuring that the infrastructure can support the scale of housing and employment growth for mksm is its major challenge. There is no quick fix to this, as “infrastructure” refers to an inclusive range of transport, learning, utilities, green links, community and cultural facilities and much more.

This infrastructure is provided by a range of suppliers and different funding sources, over a long time period. It needs long-term planning, dedication and funding from Government and others throughout the next generation if it is going to be implemented in full. Insufficient infrastructure can act as a barrier to growth, so we want to ensure that key infrastructure is provided beforehand.
