Infrastructure Programmes

mksm is too large and diverse for a single infrastructure programme. However, the six Local Delivery Vehicles in each of the Growth Policy Areas work up a Programme of Development (PoD) and keep this under review. These outline core interventions needed for their area to support continued delivery of sustainable housing and employment growth. These PoDs also serve as the basis for programme funding bids to the Department for Communities and Local Government.

The mksm Business Plan draws on these PoDs to give an overarching vision for the area, describe the scale of the development planned and the highlight key strategic interventions across the area, where infrastructure is of mutual benefit to different areas.
