mksm has a rich and diverse environment – from historic market towns to the stunning surrounding countryside such as the Chilterns, Marston Vale Forest, and the rich heritage and architecture in its many stately homes and visitor attractions.

Our partners are working to enhance the environmental offer through the growth proposals – by creating better and well-managed spaces for residents to enjoy and by delivering truly sustainable development.

There are many issues that need to be addressed as part of this by Government, local authorities and developers, and we are working together on these areas such as:

• Sustainable construction
• Green infrastructure
• Water
• Waste
• Energy efficiency
• Flood risk
