Economic Development Group

The Economic Development Group (EDG) comprises of the mksm RDAs, sub-regional economic partnerships, Local Authority economic development officers, and Local Delivery Vehicles to prepare and agree a joint economic and skills strategy with clear actions to support the ambitions for economic growth in mksm.

Role:

• To prepare an economic development strategy and implementation plan for mksm, with identified key common priorities and actions for the area, for review by the other mksm Boards / Groups;
• To produce a joint skills strategy to meet the aspiration of the economic development strategy and the high level jobs targets.
